The world football governing body, FIFA On Thursday, 6 November, 2025 shortlisted Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, for the 2025 FIFA Best Women Goalkeeper Award.
FIFA officially announced the launch of the voting process for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025 on Thursday, 6 November, 2025, for fans from all around the world to cast their votes for the best players, coaches, and goalkeepers of the year through the official FIFA app.

Voting for the FIFA Best Awards will end on Friday, 28 November, 2025 while the awards will be handed out to the winners at a ceremony early next year.
The 24-year-old is also in contention for a third CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year at the upcoming CAF Awards ceremony.
The goalkeeper is in strong list of goalkeepers competing for FIFA’s top honour, among whom are: Ann-Katrin Berger, Germany; Cata Coll, Spain; Christiane Endler, Chile; Hannah Hampton, England; Anna Moorhouse, England; and Phallon Tullis-Joyce, USA.
Nnadozie, reigning African Goalkeeper of the Year made the shortlist after a remarkable campaign in the 2024/25 season, where she inspired her former club, Paris FC, to the Coupe de France Féminine, their first title in about 20 years.
She was also crucial to Nigeria’s 10th WAFCON triumph in Morocco earlier this year, where she was also named the Goalkeeper of the Tournament.
She kept four clean sheets in six matches and conceded only twice from open play, both in the final against Morocco, when the Falcons came from two goals down to win 3-2.
She also helped Paris FC reach the French league playoffs before joining Brighton Women in England.
In England, Nnadozie has kept up her consistent performance at club level, and she was also nominated for the 2025 Women’s Yachine Trophy at the Ballon d’Or, where she finished fourth.
