According to Hon. Akindele, “The idea of the sporting event is to bring the youth together and get them positively engaged. During our electioneering campaigns, we promised the youths that we would bring them into the system, and we are gradually incorporating them.”
“I want to urge them to be good ambassadors of the LCDA. Most youths are out there engaging in social vices, but here they are displaying their talents. I encourage them to continue doing what they know how to do best so that they will one day represent the LCDA, Lagos State, and Nigeria on the global stage in the nearest future,” she stated.
