The Director General of Lagos State Sports Commission, Hon. Lekan Fatodu has stated that the commission is creating premium sporting options and new recreational spots in the state to provide diverse sporting choices and new recreational experiences for Lagosians.
Fatodu made the remarks during the periodic strategy session of the Lagos State Sports Commission held at the newly constructed Archery Range built by Zen Archery in Teslim Balogun Stadium.
Fatodu stated further that the commission’s efforts are enabled by the vision of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to enhance public engagement and improve social interactions and opportunities through sports.
“Our amiable Governor, His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu has provided the enabling environment, the necessary moral and financial support for Lagos sports to excel and I can confidently say that the dividends have started to manifest,” he said.
Fatodu assured that the Sanwo-Olu administration will continue to put in place measures and projects to enhance sports development in the state.
