The Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has intensified efforts toward the ongoing e-registration exercise of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with strategic visits to his colleagues: Hon. Adunni Akindele, Chairman of Mosan-Okunla Local Council Development Area; and Hon. Lukman Abiodun Agbaje, Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.
The visits were aimed at comparing notes, strengthening collaboration, and forging a common front to mobilise party members to revalidate and renew their memberships, while also canvassing new members into the fold of the APC across Alimosho Federal Constituency.

During his engagements, Hon. Johnson expressed satisfaction with the level of progress recorded at both Mosan-Okunla and Ayobo-Ipaja LCDAs.
He commended his colleagues for their dedication, effective grassroots mobilisation, and inclusive approach—particularly in engaging non-indigenes, artisans, and other key stakeholders within their communities.

Hon Johnson stated, “Our party is the best in the country. I am not saying this merely because I belong to it, but because it is a party with bold and courageous plans—one that is willing to correct past decisions while projecting a clearer and more prosperous future for our people.”
He added that, “With what I have seen today at Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA and Mosan-Okunla LCDA, my colleagues are handling this exercise with utmost seriousness and commitment. As a committee of Local Government Chairmen, we have resolved to ensure that Alimosho records the highest number of registered party members in the state.”
The Alimoso LG Chairman further emphasised that the mobilisation drive goes beyond registration, describing it as a strategic effort to consolidate grassroots support ahead of future elections. According to him, unity and collective resolve at the local level remain critical to sustaining good governance and democratic stability.
He concluded by affirming the party’s broader objective, “Our ultimate target is to mobilise our people for the re-election of our dear father and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.”
