Operatives of the Kaduna State Police Command have arrested two Hausa -Fulani kidnappers who raped two married women in their captivity but later fell in love with them.
The women who pretended to be in love with the kidnappers told the kidnappers that they enjoyed their lovemaking which led to the the abductors and their victims exchanging phone numbers before the victims were released.
After their release, the victims kept communicating and the incident was reported to the police.
On Tuesday, 13 January, 2026, the victims called the kidnappers for a romantic meeting and the kidnappers obliged.
On getting to their meeting point, the police who were already informed arrested the two suspects.
