Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Hon. Adeyemi Alli commended the Lagos State Sports Commission, under Fatodu’s leadership, for repositioning Lagos as a hub of sporting excellence in Nigeria and beyond.

“We are here to validate the incredible work being done by our beloved constituency champion. Since taking the helm of affairs at the Commission, Fatodu has championed a ‘bottom-up’ strategy, focusing on revitalising grassroots programmes, talent development, and sports infrastructure, aligning perfectly with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES+ Agenda,” Alli stated.

“His dedication aligns perfectly with our commitment to grassroots development, community cohesion, and empowering our young people.”
In his response, Hon. Lekan Fatodu thanked the delegation for the visit and commended their collective efforts in advancing grassroots development across their constituencies. He reaffirmed the Commission’s readiness for collaboration, noting that sustainable sports development thrives on strong partnerships between government institutions and grassroots political leadership.
