The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has promised to at least double the votes given to President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 poll at the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
It also stressed the need to reciprocate with the man it said created platforms for membets across board to thrive politically as well as monumental development through the creation of more council areas in the state.

The state Chairman of the party, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi gave this assurance during the swearing-in of the newly elected executives of the party held at the Secretariat on Acme, Ogba.
He declared that the assignment handed to them is coming at a critical period of conducting the 2027 election and emergence of candidates of the party.
According to him, all eyes are on them on and the question is whether they will change the narrative of Consolidating the party’s achievements since 1999.
Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi demanded from his colleagues unity of purpose that will make them succeed and urged them to drop the idea of different groups but work for the larger interest of the party at the poll.
The party boss also reminded members of the executives to attend wards and local government meetings as one family and work towards the victory of the party in 2027.
Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi assured that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will provide enabling environment to enhance the party’s performance at the 2027 polls.
Our correspondent reports that 37 executive members of the party were endorsed during the recently conducted State Congress held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
