The aspiration of Hon. Olumuyiwa Wahab Jimoh to contest for as a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Apapa Constituency II, was on Thursday, 14 May, 2026, formally discussed and endorsed by the Apex Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Apapa Constituency II.
At the stakeholders’ meeting, which was chaired by Alhaji Moruf Gbadamosi (popularly known as Costly), the leaders expressed their satisfaction with the aspiration of Hon. Muyiwa, describing it as timely and well-deserved.
They highlighted the remarkable feats accomplished by the leading aspirant during his previous tenure as the representative of the constituency and expressed strong confidence in his ability to deliver even greater dividends of democracy if re-elected for another term.
It was unanimously agreed that the challenges confronting Apapa Constituency II can be effectively surmounted if a capable, experienced, and impactful parliamentarian like Hon. Muyiwa is given the opportunity to grow further in the House.
His return, the leaders affirmed, is crucial to ensuring that the constituency secures its rightful place within the leadership structure of the House.
