The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the full list of members of its National Campaign Council for the Osun State governorship election, with the Secretary of the party’s Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Chief Mutiu Are, Rt. Hon. James Faleke, and former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Sunday Dare, among the notable names on the list.

The list was contained in a notice issued by the party’s National Secretariat at Buhari House, Abuja, announcing the inauguration of the Council ahead of the governorship election scheduled for Saturday, 15 August, 2026.
According to the notice, the inauguration was held on Tuesday, 28 July, 2026 at the Transcorp Hilton Event Centre, Abuja.
The document showed that the Council, made up of over 290 members, would be chaired by Senator Hope Uzodimma, with Governor Mai Mala Buni, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio and Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas serving as Co-Chairmen. Hon. Ibrahim Kabir Masari was named Deputy Chairman, while Senator Barau I. Jibrin was listed as Secretary.
Other prominent members on the main Council include Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Alh. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Senator Uba Sani, Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Hon. Umo Bassey Eno, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, Senator Bassey Otu, Rt. Hon. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F. Oborevwori, Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Peter Mbah, Alh. Muhammed Inuwa Yahaya, Umar Namadi, Abbah Yusuf, Alh. Dikko Umaru Radda, Senator Ahmed Usman Ododo, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, Lucky O. Aiyedatiwa, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, Dapo Abiodun, Alh. Ahmed Aliyu, Dauda Lawal, Mohammed Umaru Bago, Dr. Ali Bukar Dalori, Senator Ajibola Basiru and Prof. Abdulkarim A. Kana.
The list further contained the names of Muazu Bawa Rijau, Barr. Idris Shuaibu, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, Chief Victor Giadom, Barr. Murtala Aliyu Kankia, Amb. Haruna Ginsau, Hon. Suleiman M. Argungu, Donatus Nwankpa, Barr. Felix Morka, Senator Abubakar Maikafi, Dr. Mary Alile Idele, Abdullahi Dayo Israel, Aare Durotulo Bankole, Senator Hamma-Adama Ali Kumo, Chief Barr. Emeka Okafor, Senator Durosinmi Meseko, and Hajiya Zainab Ibrahim, among others.
Also listed as members were Senator Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele, Senator Ashiru Oyelola Yisa, Senator Fasuyi Oluwole, Senator Adaramodu Adeyemi, Senator Sanni Wasiu Eshilokun, Senator Abiru Adetokunbo, Senator Daniel Justus Olugbenga, Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan, Senator Adegbonmire Ayodele, Senator Ipinsagba Emmanuel Olajide, Senator Dayo Faduyile, Rt. Hon. James Faleke, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims, Hon. Usman Bello Kumo, Hon. Isiaka Ayokunle Ibrahim, Hon. Abubakar Abba Bichi, Rt. Hon. James Faleke, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, Hon. Tolulope Shadipe, Hon. Sola Elesin, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, Chief Yemi Sanusi, Hon. Alake-Adeyemo Moses, Hon. Kolawole Gabriel Babatunde, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, and Alh. Umar Haruna Doguwa, among many others.
Beyond the main Council, the notice disclosed that several sub-committees were also constituted to drive the party’s campaign at various levels. The Election Planning and Management Committee, chaired by Senator Hope Uzodimma, has Hon. Monday Okpebholo as Secretary, while the Finance and Resource Mobilisation Committee is headed by Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, with Zacch Adedeji serving as Secretary.
The Contact, Grassroots Engagement and Mobilisation Committee is chaired by Hon. Abbah Yusuf, with Hon. Oke Oluwole as Secretary, while the Logistics and Campaign Management Committee is led by Senator Bassey Otu, with Prof. Julius Ihonvbere as Secretary.
Other sub-committees include the Monitoring and Compliance Committee, chaired by Senator Uba Sani, with Senator Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele as Secretary; the Protocol Committee, chaired by Rt. Hon. Sheriff F. Oborevwori, with Hon. Hulayat Motunrayo Ayo Omidiran as Secretary; and the Media and Publicity Committee, chaired by Hon. Engr. Abdullahi Sule, with Barr. Felix Morka as Secretary.
Also constituted were the Security Committee, chaired by Alh. Muhammed Inuwa Yahaya, with Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu as Secretary; the Youth Mobilisation Committee, chaired by Ahmed Usman Ododo, with Abdullahi Dayo Israel as Secretary; the Special Interest (PWD) Mobilisation Committee, chaired by Mohammed Umar Bago, with Aare Durotulo Bankole as Secretary; the Women’s Mobilisation Committee, chaired by Hon. Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, with Dr. Mary Alile-Idele and Mrs. Titilayo Laoye-Ponle serving as Co-Chairpersons and Hon. Ayo Omodara as Secretary; and the Secretariat Committee, chaired by Hon. Ayoola Peter Olajolo, with Comr. Jibrin Bancir Kamga as Secretary.
The notice was signed by the National Secretary of the party, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, confirming the formal inauguration of the Council to coordinate the APC’s campaign for the Osun governorship election.
