Legendary Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has broken his silence amid reports of a marital crisis with his wife, Natasha Osawaru, following a clash at a nightclub in Abuja.

The singer addressed the issue for the first time on Sunday, 9 August, 2026 during his performance at Daddy Showkey’s 50 Years on Stage concert, where he spoke in Pidgin English about the incident that had earlier gone viral online.

Natasha, who has been severally accused online of domestic violence against 2Baba, reportedly stormed Faze’s grand opening event at 90s Lounge in Abuja, where the singer was booked to perform.

A senior member of 2Baba’s management team confirmed that the confrontation took place at the venue, alleging that Natasha arrived with several security personnel and other men who attempted to take the singer away from the event.

According to the source, Natasha’s arrival and the presence of the men accompanying her led to tension between both sides before the situation escalated into a confrontation involving 2Baba and members of his team.

The management team also claimed that 2Baba and Natasha had been apart for more than two months prior to the incident.

Addressing the crowd at the concert, 2Baba said, “I don go look for trouble. I don hear am. Going forward ehh, I don decide not to dey look for trouble again. I don go look for trouble, I don hear am.”

Reacting to his comment, a fan at the concert shouted, “Na love now,” a remark that drew a sharp response from the singer, who retorted, “Na love? You dey craze.”
