The Lagos State Audit Service Commission has organised a staff development session aimed at enhancing the digital competencies of its workforce and promoting the effective use of technology in the delivery of public service.
The training, themed Mastering Your Digital Workspace, was held at the commission’s conference room in Alausa, Ikeja, and formed part of the commission’s continuous capacity-building initiatives aimed at improving productivity and operational efficiency.
In her remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Oluwakemi Amudat Garbadeen-Adedeji, encouraged officers to embrace digital transformation by applying the knowledge acquired during the session to their day-to-day responsibilities.
She noted that the effective use of digital tools would not only simplify work processes but also enhance collaboration, innovation and service delivery across the commission.
The session was facilitated by Adeleye Oreoluwa and Bolaji Babalola of Analoid Consult, who provided practical demonstrations on the use of digital tools to improve workplace efficiency.
Participants were taken through the effective use of Google Drive, audio transcription applications and ChatGPT, with hands-on exercises showing how the technologies could simplify routine tasks, improve document management, support collaboration and enhance overall productivity.
The interactive session provided officers with valuable practical experience and reinforced the commission’s commitment to building a digitally proficient workforce capable of meeting the evolving demands of the modern public service.
