Veteran Yoruba actor, Taiwo Hassan popularly known as Ogogo in the movie world is dead, reports thegazellenews.com
Thegazellenews.com reports further that the demise of the popular actor was announced among friends and family members late Sunday, 23 August, 2026.
Thegazellenews.com had earlier reported that the veteran actor was suffering from stage four cancer. One of his daughters who cried out over the actor’s ailment via a video that went viral, sought orthodox and alternative cure for her father.
The video triggered a lot of positive responses from friends and admirers particularly Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola and the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
Thegazellenews.com also noted that on Friday, 21 August, 2026, colleagues in the Industry held a special prayer for him.
