Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has called on voters across the North-West to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, saying the region has benefited significantly from his administration.

Sani appealed on Saturday, 29 August, 2026 at the inauguration of coordinators and members of the “Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria” support group for the seven North-West states in Kaduna.

Represented by his Special Adviser on Politics, Abubakar Mamadi, the Governor said the Tinubu administration had made significant interventions in agriculture, education, youth empowerment and women development across the region.

“No region has benefited under Tinubu’s administration like the North, particularly the seven states in the North-West region,” Mamadi quoted Sani as saying.

He urged members of the support group to take information about the Federal Government’s programmes and achievements to grassroots communities and mobilise support for Tinubu across Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Jigawa, Sokoto and Zamfara states.

The Governor also charged the coordinators to ensure that residents in rural areas were adequately informed about government policies and interventions ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The group’s convener, Mike Auta, urged members to intensify their grassroots mobilisation efforts, stressing that the campaign should extend beyond major cities.

“Go to all nooks and crannies of the states and mobilise the people. We must ensure victory for President Tinubu come 2027,” Auta said.

The group’s women leader, Karima Abdullai, said women in the North-West had benefited from cash assistance and empowerment programmes introduced by the Tinubu administration. She urged women to support the President’s re-election bid.

Also speaking, the Director of Town Hall Engagement and Special Duties, Farida Bala, appealed to Nigerians to remain patient with the administration, describing its policies as part of an ongoing process of rebuilding the country.

She likened the process to renovating a neglected house, saying rebuilding a nation required patience before meaningful progress and prosperity could be achieved.

The organisers said the Kaduna event marked the commencement of a wider mobilisation campaign across the North-West to garner support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
