The desperate desperation of political charlatans has reached a new, farcical low. In a transparent, pathetic bid to claw their way into global headlines and salvage a fading relevance, the professional smear merchant styling himself as “Dr. Karl-Marx Edward Okeke-Von Ikemefuna Batten” has unspooled a grotesque web of fabrication.
Cloaked in theatrical self-righteousness, Okeke-Von has concocted a fairy tale involving phantom millions, secret rendezvous in London, and imaginary emissaries, all to deflect from the bankruptcy of his ongoing campaign of calumny against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This is not investigative work; it is the fevered hallucination of a desperate con man seeking to monetize mischief, manufacture phantom drama, and punch above his intellectual and professional weight class.
For months, this serial fabricator has peddled recycled, thoroughly discredited trash regarding President Tinubu—allegations so baseless and hollow that even political opponents with a shred of credibility refuse to touch them. Finding his toxic merchandise gathering dust in the marketplace of public opinion, Okeke-Von has now invented a cinematic narrative of a multi-million-dollar bribery attempt.
The premise insults the intelligence of the public: that a seasoned, focused administration battling structural rot would dispatch high-level emissaries across continents to buy off a fringe political mercenary whose noise carries zero policy weight. It is a classic diversionary tactic by an attention-starved dodger caught fabricating falsehoods, attempting to transform his own impending disgrace into a badge of fabricated martyrdom.
Let us dispense with the amateur dramatics and anchor this discussion in the immutable bedrock of jurisprudence: he who alleges must prove. The burden of proof rests squarely on the shoulders of this self-styled crusader. Okeke-Von boasts of screenshots, disappearing messages, and secret communications. Yet, true to the standard operating procedure of political fraudsters and clout-chasing grifters, he runs to social media microphones instead of presenting verifiable, forensic evidence to competent authorities.
If there is a “highly placed individual” who dangled three million dollars, name them. If there are messages, unmask them completely without selective, heavily edited redactions designed to protect an imaginary narrative.
Until then, his loud posturing about notifying the Department of Justice and the FBI is nothing more than smoke and mirrors—a pathetic legalistic smoke screen designed to mask the absolute absence of facts.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains unyielding, focused entirely on the monumental task of national renewal.
While Okeke-Von and his paymasters traffic in gutter politics and tissue-thin lies, this administration is steadily unspooling decades of economic paralysis, structural decay, and institutional rot inherited from decades of systemic inertia.
President Tinubu did not step forward to rescue Nigeria from the brink of total economic collapse only to be distracted by the screeching of a professional noise-maker. Economic reforms requiring unmatched political will, fiscal discipline, and strategic foresight are taking root; inflation is being wrestled to the ground, infrastructural arteries are being cleared, and international confidence in the Nigerian enterprise is steadily rebounding.
To suggest that a leader executing such historic, nation-saving surgery would lose sleep over a fringe charlatan like Okeke-Von is laughable.
Let this serve as a definitive challenge, delivered without equivocation: produce the evidence or forever hold your peace. Show the world the names, the dates, the bank instruments, the call logs, and the unredacted proof of these alleged overtures.
Bring forth the mysterious paymasters, or confess that this entire saga is a malicious, attention-seeking fabrication cooked up in the dark recesses of a desperate imagination. If Okeke-Von cannot substantiate these wild claims, he must pack up his portable theater of deceit, apologize to the Nigerian public, and slink back into the obscurity from which he desperately clawed.
Nigeria is a sovereign nation marching resolutely toward economic stability and democratic maturity; it will not be hijacked by foreign-backed con men, media mercenaries, and political jobbers seeking cheap mileage at the expense of our national dignity.
The stage lights are on, the spotlight is glaring, and the nation is waiting. Produce your proof, Okeke-Von, or shut up permanently.
