The Deputy Director-General of the PBAT/KOH Campaign Council, Rasaq Olusola Ajala, has urged members of the Arewa Community in Apapa, Lagos, to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), assuring them of equal opportunities within the party.
Ajala made the appeal during an engagement attended by former Lagos APC Chairman and Governance Advisory Council (GAC) member, Tunde Balogun; Apapa Local Government Chairman, Idowu Adejumoke Senbanjo; Chairman of the Arewa Community in Lagos and the Southwest, Sadu; and other party leaders.
The meeting included community members affiliated with another political party who were reportedly considering joining the APC. Ajala assured them that the party would consider their interests and political aspirations.
He also highlighted Federal Government initiatives and policies aimed at improving living conditions and raising the standard of living across the country.
Describing the engagement as productive, Ajala urged APC members to strengthen the party’s structures and broaden its support base ahead of the 2027 general elections.
