Forty eight coronavirus patients were discharged in Lagos on Friday, 8 May, 2020, The Gazelle News.com reports.
This was revealed by the state Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi on his official twitter handle.
Professor Abayomi stated that 16 females and 32 males were discharged after they have tested negative twice for the virus infection, an indication of their full recovery.
The patients were discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba; the Isolation Centre at Lekki and Onikan as well as the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
Of the lot, 28 patients were discharged from IDH, six from Lekki, one from Onikan and 13 from LUTH.
The Gazelle News.com reports further that the number of discharged patients in Lagos is now 406.
