The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Lagos State has risen to 2550 as 338 new cases are reported nationwide, The Gazelle News.com reports.
The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed on its official Twitter handle on Sunday, 17 May, 2020 that 338 new cases were reported nationwide.
Out of this, Lagos, the epicentre of the pandemic in Nigeria has 177 cases out of this bringing its total to 2550.
The total number in Nigeria now is 5959 while 1594 have been recovered and 182 people have died from the infection in Nigeria.
