Lagos State Government on Sunday, 12 July, 2020, discharged 56 recovered coronavirus patients among whom were nine foreign nationals, reports The Gazelle News.com.
The Governor of the state and Incident Commander, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, disclosed this on Sunday, 12 July, 2020 while giving update on the pandemic in the state.
According to the Governor, 44 males and 12 females who have all tested twice to the virus were discharged across various isolation centres in the state.
The Gazelle News.com reports that the total number of recovered patients in Lagos State is 1897.
The patients were discharged from the following isolation centres: Gbagada Isolation Centre, 25; Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation Centre, 15; Landmark Isolation Centre, Eti Osa, 8; Agidingbi Isolation Centre, 5; and Onikan Isolation Centre, 3.

Good people of Lagos,
Today, 56 #COVID19Lagos patients; 12 females and 44 males including 9 foreign nationals were discharged from our Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.
The patients; 25 from Gbagada, 5 from Agidingbi, 8 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) 3 from Onikan and 15 from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged after full recovery and testing negative to COVID19.
This brings to 1897, the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged from our isolation facilities.
