After undergoing weeks of treatment in Alexandria, Egypt, David Obadiah Dolapo, better known as Baddy of Lagos, has safely returned to Nigeria following the first stage of his corrective surgery.
Diagnosed with bow legs (Genu Varum), Baddy’s childhood was marked by three failed surgeries between the ages of 6 and 12. Beyond the physical struggle, his condition drew online ridicule especially after his 2024 viral clash with Peruzzi. But rather than retreat, he leaned into modeling, transforming mockery into admiration for his boldness.

In 2025, Nigerians rallied to his side. Led by influencer Wizarab, a remarkable ₦22 million was raised in just two weeks to fund the surgery abroad. The procedure lasted seven hours on one leg and was deemed successful by doctors, though they cautioned against operating on both at once due to the severity of his case.
Now back on home soil, Baddy calls this just “the first stage” of his journey.
