Amina Oyiza Bello, for the Eika-Ohizenyi community in Okehi Local Government Area of the state. Three senior doctors have lost their lives within five days at the Alimoso General Hospital in Lagos State, reports thegazellenews.com. This medium learnt that the doctors in the Principal Medical Officer category, died within five days. The doctors are: Otukoya, Aluko and Shuaib, the latter died on Monday, 25 September, 2023. Their death has generated anger among the colleagues of the deceased prompting state chapter of the Medical Guild, an association of Lagos State Government-employed medical and dental practitioners, to issue a 48-hour ultimatum to the state government to address doctors’ welfare.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Ope George, recently disclosed that the Lagos State Government has generated an astonishing N400 billion in the first half of this year. This revelation came to light during the 2024 Budget Consultative Forum, where Mr. George expressed confidence in the state’s ability to meet its end-of-year target.
