Nelson-Koch, has been sentenced to 600 years jail term after she repeatedly sexually abused a teenage boy at a private school in Wisconsin reports The Daily Mail. Monroe County Court convicted Nelson-Koch on 25 counts linked to the attacks which took place in the 2016-2017 school year. She would take the boy down to the unnamed school’s basement to abuse him. Nelson-Koch was 67 at the time and the boy was 14. Prosecutors asked that Nelson-Koch be immediately remanded in custody ahead of sentencing on October 27. The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest on Saturday, 5 August, 2023 to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos. The National and State House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) Lagos has dismissed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s petition seeking to nullify the victory of Senator Adebule Idiat Oluranti in the February 25 senatorial election. The Court of Appeal has reaffirmed the power of the Local Governments to register all types of Marriages (including Marriage under Act) within their Jurisdiction to the Exclusion of Federal Ministry of Interior or any other arm of government in Nigeria in Suit No;CA/L/CV/968/22.
