Lagos Four people narrowly escaped death on Tuesday, 1 August, 2023, after a helicopter crashed in the Oba Akran area of Ikeja, Lagos State. The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon close to a branch of the United Bank for Africa in the area. Chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garages (LASPG), Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) has announced relief packages to cushion the petrol subsidy removal pain. The packages, he said, cut across commercial bus drivers and passengers. He said the tickets given to drivers at parks for N800 will now be sold for N600.
