Professor Lai Oso of the Mass Communication Department died on the evening of Saturday, 24 June, 2023 in a ghastly auto crash. The accident which took his life occurred on Abraka road, Abraka, Delta State. He was reportedly returning to Lagos from Abraka where he had gone to supervise the doctoral thesis of one of his students.
