Lagos State Police Command on Monday, 7 April, 2025 said it uncovered a baby factory in the Ijegun, Alimosho area of the state during one its recent operation in the state. The operation took place on Saturday, 5 April, 2025, at about 2: 00 p.m following credible information from the Afurugbin area where the factory was located. Six adults and three children were rescued from the factory, which followed the arrests of the baby factory operator and her accomplices. Four popular gospel ministers: Evangelist Ayodeji David, popularly known as Kekere Jesu; Evangelist Iyanu Joseph, Opeyemi Adesina and Monjolajesu Oluwapamilerin have been confirmed dead following an accident along the Ikorodu–Sagamu Road in Ogun State.
