A former Governor of Oyo State, Victor Omololu Olunloyo is dead. Olunloyo, the first Ibadan indigene to rule Oyo State as Governor, died in the early hours of Sunday, 6 April, 2025 about three months to his 90th birthday. Olunloyo ruled the old Oyo State between October and December 1983. Sources close to the family noted that he has batting with old age related ailments for the last few weeks.
