The Gombe State government over the weekend signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China18th Engineering, an international engineering firm, to build a 100-megawatt solar energy plant in the state. The 6th Division of the Nigerian Army in Port Harcourt has announced the recovery of 700,000 litres of stolen petroleum products following a series of operations conducted between October 28 and November 3, 2024. The Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has disclosed it lost about N6 billion due to a 12-day power outage that severely impacted business and social activities across its service areas of Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states. During the outage, 70 transformers were reportedly vandalised, adding to the company’s challenges, it added.
