The Plateau police command have arrested a 20 years old Moses Oko, for allegedly killing a 300-level student of the University of Jos, Jennifer Anthony, for suspected ritual purposes. The suspect is the son of a lecturer in the University. The police stated that his lecturer father, Joseph Oko, assisted the police in arresting him. The suspected killer was arrested in Benue State. The deceased undergraduate was found dead in a hotel with her eyes and other vital organs removed. The Federal Government on Wednesday, 5 May, 2021 said it will soon begin the second phase distribution of four million pre-paid electricity meters free to Nigerians.
