The Lagos State Commissioner For Local Government and Community Affairs, Dr Wale Ahmed has commended the Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, for the giant strides her administration has recorded in the last seven months in the area of provision of people oriented projects in the council area, reports The Gazelle News.com.
The Commissioner gave the commendation on Saturday, 15 August, 2020 when he led principal officials of the ministry to the council, on an inspection tour of projects executed by the present administration.
Dr Ahmed submitted after the completion of the inspection exercise that the people of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA are lucky to have Princess Bada as the chairman of the council, judging from the fact that, she has demonstrated through the various projects executed by her administration since assumption of office that the well-being of the people is very important to her.
The Commissioner specifically commended the first female chairman of Ikosi-Isheri for efforts made by her to give facelift to some link roads within the council, adding that the rehabilitated roads will easen the pain often experienced by motorists on such roads before they were rehabilitated.
