The member of the House of Representatives representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Honourable James Abiodun Faleke has taken over the rehabilitation of Ojodu police station, reports The Gazelle News.com.
The police station was set ablaze during the EndSARS protest.
According to the findings by The Gazelle News.com, the Chairman of the House Committee on Finance has completely taken over the rehabilitation project and contractors are already working on rebuilding the police station.
The Gazelle News.com can also reveal that the two-time former Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area has concluded plans to distribute eight patrol vehicles to police formations in his Federal Constituency.
The police formations are: the state police headquarters, the Area F police command, the Area G police command, Ojodu police station, Alausa police station and MAN Estate police station.
The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) in Ikeja will also be presented one patrol van each.
