Chairmanship aspirant for Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area, Omooba Akintola Falade has called on students to face their studies as good education is the bedrock to attaining greater heights in life, reports thegazellenews.com
Falade spoke on Thursday, 6 February, 2025, during the distribution of free JAMB forms to students in Mosan-Okunola LCDA. The event took place at Low Cost Housing Estate, Abesan, Ipaja.
“There is need for you to face your studies. Getting good education is the foundation for you to attain greater heights in life and you can’t get good education if you don’t face your studies,” the Chairmanship aspirant said.
According to him, the need to assist in laying a good foundation for the students in their education pursuit was the major reason he decided to offer them free JAMB forms.
“This is just the beginning. We realise that we need to assist the students in getting a solid foundation hence the decision to distribute the JAMB forms free to students who may find it difficult to pay for the forms,” he said.
About 110 students benefitted from the project which was executed on behalf of the Asiwaju Solidarity Movement (ASM), a political group in Alimoso Federal Constituency propagating the ideals of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
