Nigerians will be updated on the latest discoveries on the causes of infertility and the most successful among the trending solutions to the problem at the 2025 Edition of the annual Fertility Conference of one of only two organisations offering free, assisted conception in Nigeria. Participation is free.
Nigeria’s Quiver Full Foundation will hold its 2025 Fertility Conference online on January 25, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. One of Nigeria’s leading experts in assisted conception and human reproduction enhancement technologies, Dr Abayomi Ajayi of Nordica Fertility Centre, is one of the keynote speakers at the Conference.
Multiple-awards winning Nigerian entrepreneur, mentor and role model to many young women, Mrs Yewande Zaccheaus is also one of the keynote speakers at the event. Other speakers at the event include Mrs Gbemi Adekoya, a mental health professional and Apostle Femi Lazarus. The online fertility conference is for Nigerians desiring knowledge and information on the latest discoveries from fertility research and assisted reproductive technologies available today.
The medical experts and other speakers will be sharing their knowledge on the latest findings about foods, drugs and habits that account for the increasing incidence of infertility among Nigerians, available fertility treatments, the role of emotional wellness in fertility, and more. Participation is free and unlimited at the online conference. Participants will engage with the speakers, asking questions and gaining a deeper understanding of the latest advancements and best practices in reproductive healthcare technologies and fertility care.
The event is one of several events the Lagos-based organisation annually uses to sensitise Nigerians on fertility issues to help as many Nigerian couples as possible overcome difficulties with getting pregnant.
Over the last seven years, the Quiver Full Foundation has used assisted human fertilisation technologies to facilitate pregnancies for at least 40 Nigerian couples who delivered 20 babies.
The Quiver Full Foundation was founded in 2017 by Mrs. Catherine Oyenike Abagun, one of Nigeria’s leading information technology product marketers. Mrs Abagun’s charitable engagements in Nigeria were recognised internationally last year in Doha, Qatar, where she was named the winner of the 2024 NHN International Woman of Excellence Award for her “outstanding contributions to community service and humanitarian efforts”.
