Operatives of the Anambra State Police Command have arrested a 37-year-old man, Kosisochukwu Okafor, for allegedly killing his brother, Emmanuel Okafor on Friday, 7 February, 2025 at Adegbe Village, Abagana, in the Njikoka Local Government Area of the state
Anambra State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the development on Saturday, 8 February, 2025.
According to eyewitnesses, a heated argument over foodstuffs in their home escalated into a physical altercation.
During the fight, Kosisochukwu allegedly used a stick to pierce his brother’s chest, leading to his death.
“It was during a fight after a heated argument that the junior brother used a stick to pierce his chest and he fell.
“The victim was rushed to the hospital and was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty,” said the eyewitness.
