Particularly hit was the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the death of Mrs EbunOluwa Esther Ojelabi, wife of the state Chairman of the party, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi was announced late Monday, 24 March, 2025.
Thegazellenews.com reports further that the same day, the Vice Chairman of Otto-Awori LCDA, Honourable Azeez Abiodun Kazeem lost his wife, Alhaja Bisola Basirat Kazeem to the cold hands of death.

The late Mrs Ojelabi reportedly died after a brief illness while the Late Alhaja Kazeem also died after a brief illness.
The late Mrs Ojelabi was the Chairperson of Otto-Awori LCDA when her husband was the Chairman of the council when the council was created in 2003.
