The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare has assured that no youth would be denied the opportunity of benefiting from the Youth Investment Fund.
Speaking during a visit to felicitate with  the Olubadan of Ibadan Oba Salihu Akanmu Adetunji  on his 92nd birthday celebration, Dare said, “Your Royal Highness, let me  congratulate you on the occasion of your 92nd birthday. I pray that you will live long in good health and sound mind. Forgive me for visiting a bit late since my appointment due to the demands of work and the Covid-19 lockdown. Recall that I had assured you after my apppointment that I would assist as many youth as possible by creating job opportunities. The approval of the Youth Investment Fund would lead to the actualization of that promise.  As soon  as the programme takes off, at least 5,000 youths from Oyo State will benefit. I assure you that no effort would be spared to make this a reality”.
In his response, the Olubadan said he was very proud of the Minister’s performance since his assumption of office  a year ago.
He promised his commitment to  ensuring that the Minister succeeds in his assignment.
