Team Nigeria 3×3 Basketball teams today won two medals in the basketball event of the ongoing 12th Africa Games.
The women team defeated their Malian counterparts by 21-20 points to pick the gold medal.
While the Nigeria men team also beat Malian men’s team by 20-19 points to win the bronze medal.
Speaking after the match, Ifunaya Ijeh expressed happiness over the victory, thanking God for the victory.
She said it was a very tough match, praising the malians for giving a good account of themselves.
Meanwhile Team Nigeria also win a gold medal in Badminton team event, while in the table tennis mixed doubles Nigeria pick another bronze medal.
