The Zamfara State chapter of the Widows Association of Nigeria have concluded aarrangements to purchase a nomination form for the state Governor, Bello Muhammad Matawalle to contest for reelection in 2023 governorship election in the state.
The Coalition Public Relation Officer who simply identified herself as Hajiya Jummai said, “I would like to use this opportunity to inform the general public that after our first quarter meetings and deliberations, we have decided to purchase a governorship nomination form for Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle of Zamfara State to continue with the good work he has been doing especially in the area of empowerment to thousands of our members who lost their beloved husbands during the regime of the former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari”.
In a similar development, a bereaved woman from Yar Galadima who lost her husband and three children on their way to farm during the administration of the former Governor informed that, up till this moment the former governor has not shown any sympathy towards the woman and her family.
“There has been no words of condolence from him not to talk of any visit,” the woman lamented.
