Ojokoro LCDA Residents Receives Cash Palliatives

Residents of Ojokoro LCDA have been given cash palliative from the council authority to cushion the effect of the lockdown in the state.
The Council Boss, Hon Hammed Idowu D. Tijani told newsmen at the presentation of the cash relief in different wards saying that, “there was a need to do more as the first round of palliative must have been exhausted by now”.
The palliative was disbursed with the help of the Community Development Committee (CDC) members.
Hon. Tijani said now is the time to show love to one another, as he thanked all those who have been assisting their neighbours.
He appealed for understanding from those who did not get the palliative as it was meant for the most vulnerable in the community.
The chairman urged the residents to continue to abide by the rules and regulations to curb the spread of COVID-19 especially social distancing and regular hygiene.
The Community Development Committee’s first Vice Chairman, Alhaji. Adeyemi Ismail, who represented the CDC Chairman, Barrister Samuel Alabi at the event, appreciated the council’s authority as the first to send out financial relief to residents.
