Former Commissioner for Agriculture and Cooperatives in Lagos State, Chief Enoch Kolapomoye Olorunfunwa Ajiboso, has declared that the highly successful road show in Agege on Saturday, 21st February, 2015 organised for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the state, Akinwunmi Ambode, has confirmed the love the Agege people have for the APC and its candidates.
The roadshow was organised by the Ambode Support Group and is expected to go round all the local governments in the state.
It was Agege’s turn on Saturday, 21st February, 2015 and Ajiboso is the coordinator of the Support Group for Agege Local Government.
Speaking after the completion of the roadshow, Ajiboso, also two-time former chairman of Agege Local Government, stated that he was overwhelmed by the response of the people of the local government.
“As you can for yourself, the response is unprecedented and I am very grateful to the people of Agege for showing love for our great party and our candidates. This is a confirmation that Agege will vote for APC and all its candidates in the coming election right from our presidential candidate, General Muhamadu Buhari to the governorship candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode and other candidates of the party,” the former Chairman of Lagos council chairmen said.
Ajiboso stated that Agege has always voted for the progressives and the coming elections will not be different as confirmed by the impressive massive turn out at the roadshow.
“In Agege, we are ready and we will vote for APC and its candidates. I’m happy with this turn out. But we will not rest on our oars as we will continue to mobilise our people and ensure that the election is won by APC with wide margin,” Ajiboso said.
The roashow took off from Women Developmenyt Centre (WDC), Pen Cinema; right through Mosalasi Alhaja, down to Guineess, Asade Retail Market, on to Agege Market, AP, Okekoto, Agbotikuyo and Funmilayo onto Mulero and Iyana Ipaja with the residents jubilating and waving their brooms while the APC leaders were distributing gifts to the residents.
