According to the National President of the Association, Mr. Idris Salami, the commissioner was honoured because of her selfless commitment to the development of humanity and outstanding contributions towards a better Nigeria.
Salami described Oladunjoye as a thoroughbred personality who is committed towards ensuring the success of government’s efforts by her doggedness to ensure a better community.
He stated that, “it is indeed in respect of this thoroughbred personality that we have gathered here today to celebrate a leader who indeed has the belief that there is light at the end of the tunnel, realizing the need to ensure the success of government’s efforts through her doggedness towards a better community.”
He noted that there are still a sizeable numbers of honest, steadfast and selfless political office holders and leaders who are not interested in what they will benefit from government but rather are concerned with how to make life worth living for the teeming masses hence the need to honour and recognize them.
“The Alumni Association and myself are proud to be associated with the awardee for her outstanding contributions towards a better Nigeria, which is worthy of emulation,” Salami averred.
Responding, the Commissioner appreciated the alumni for deeming her fit for the award and dedicated the award to teachers in the State who have dedicated themselves to the development of children as well as to Parents who have taken up the responsibility of ensuring that their children are catered for.
She commended the alumni and pledged her continued support to their efforts of giving to those in need adding that children that are being trained today will take care of tomorrow.
Mrs. Oladunjoye attributed her success at the Ministry to the officials who have wholeheartedly keyed-in into her vision.
