Ahmed Gulak, a former aide to former Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan, was killed on Saturday night in Owerri, Imo state capital city.
Multiple reports claim that Gulak was on his way to Abuja when the gunmen attacked and killed him.
The former chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2018. In the same year, the Adamawa-born politician chaired the APC governorship primary committee in Imo.
