The postponed congresses of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will commence on Saturday, 31 July, 2021 with the ward congress, reports The Gazelle News.com.
A letter to that effect was forwarded to the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) dated 11 July, 2021 by the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the APC.
The letter was signed by the Chairman of the CECPC and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Bala Bunu, and Secretary, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe.
In the letter sighted by The Gazelle News.com, titled: Notice for the Conduct Congress, it was stated that sequel to an earlier letter dated 6 July, 2021 on the matter, the Congresses of the APC will now start by Saturday, 31 July, 2021 with the Ward Congress while others follow sequentially.
