The number of coronavirus infection in Lagos has surpassed 10,000 with the report of 779 new infections throughout the country on Saturday, 27 June, 2020, reports The Gazelle News.com.
The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced new 779 infections nationwide on its Twitter handle on Saturday bringing the total infection in Nigeria to 24,077.
Of the new infections, Lagos remains the epicentre with 285 new infections bringing its total infection to 10026.
However, The Gazelle News.com can report that for the second consecutive day, Lagos did not record death arising from the virus infection.
