The newly elected Chairman of Bebeji Local Government Area of Kano State, Alhaji Ali Namadi is dead, reports The Gazelle News.com.
The newly elected reportedly died early Tuesday, 18 January, 2021.
He was reported to have developed high blood around 12.30am on Tuesday, 19 January, 2021 and was rushed to Bebeji General Hospital where he died about 10 minutes later.
The late Namadi was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and was reported to have been in the euphoria of that victory when they death came calling.
His Campaign Director, Ibrahim Adamu Tiga confirmed the development.
“He was hale and hearty on Monday, 18 January, 2021 and even received guests up till 10.30pm that day. He developed high blood pressure suddenly at about 12.30am on Tuesday. He was rushed to Bebeji General Hospital and died 10 minutes later,” Tiga said.
The late Chairman would be buried today, Tuesday, 19 January, 2021 in his Hometown in Bebeji.
