The Lagos State Government has eased the 24-hr curfew it imposed on the state in the wake of the violence that the engulfed the #EndSARS protests across the state, reports The Gazelle News.com
The state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced this on Friday, 23 October, 2020 while briefing the media on recent events in the state on the #EndSARS protests and the Lekki Toll Gate alleged massacre.
The Governor stated that having analysed the security situation in the state, though there are still pockets of violence in some areas, it is safe to ease the curfew.
Consequently, the Governor announced that people will be allowed to go about their businesses between 8am and 6pm.
