The Ayodele Adewale administration in Amuwo Odofin Local Government recently played host to the Deputy Director of United Kingdom Trade and Investment (UKTI), British High Commission in Lagos, Mr. Bukola Dolapo in the company of Mrs. Valerie Agodo, the Trade Development Manager, UKTI.
In the course of the meeting, the Deputy Director of UKTI, Mr. Bukola Dolapo gave assurance of a mutual prosperity agenda through developmental projects.
During a media chat after touring the facilities and developmental projects within the secretariat, Mr. Bukola Dolapo stated that the present administration in the local government has made him a firm believer in the local government administration in Nigeria . When asked of his opinion on the performance of the grassroots government in place, he simply said, “Comrade Adewale has raised the bar”.
The Deputy Director advised the Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Comrade Ayodele Adewale to replicate his monumental achievement recorded in the local government in other higher position.
It is hoped that the recent visit will go a long way to foster bilateral relations between the local government and United Kingdom.
