Ibrahim Magu has been suspended as the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Gazelle.com reports.
It will be recalled that Magu was arrested on Monday by the DSS and a panel was set-up to look into the issue of financial infraction levelled against him.
Also, the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, had previously accused Magu of corruption and according to the DSS, his offence included sabotage, unauthorized removal of EFCC and acts that are not in consonance with a police officer.
