Comrade Adewale Wins Lagos Best LG Chairman Award

Mr. Vikish Prish(L) presenting the award of the “Best Local Government Chairman in Lagos State, to the Executive Chairman, Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Comrade Ayodele Adewale, represented by the Supervisor for works, Comrade(Engr.) Valentine Buraimoh, at the 2014  season 4 of the Classic Africa Merit Award (CAMA), held at 10 degrees events centre, Ikeja, Lagos.

The Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Comrade Ayodele Adewale over the weekend won the Best Local Government Chairman in Lagos award.

The award was given to him by the Classic International Magazine, at its Classic Africa Merit Award (CAMA) 2014, held at 10 Degree Events Center, Ikeja, Lagos.

The well attended event attracted the first Governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande and his wife, Abimbola; Nollywood veterans and captains of industry amongst others.

Comrade Adewale who was represented by the Supervisor for Works in Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Comrade Buraimoh Valentine.

Comrade Valentine in his address after receiving the award, expressed appreciation to the organizer for the award, noting that the award would spur the administration of Comrade Adewale to do more. He also dedicated the award to Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the people of the State of Osun, for massively voting for the sustenance of positive change in the state.  

In a related development, the local government boss also won the Best Local Government Chairman Award for 2014 in another award ceremony organised by Meljenstin Nigeria Ltd.

The organisers of this particular award  noted that Comrade Adewale has brought finesse to grassroots governance in Lagos State.
