The Lead Visioner of Team Jandor and Grand Patron of Ibile-Eko Forum, Mr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, has approved for immediate distribution to more than 10,000 homes in Lagos State, food items through the Jandor Food Bank Initiative as well as disbursement of N5,000 each for members of Team Jandor and Ibile – Eko Forum across the state.
This is coming at a time when the people need more support, due to the effect of Covid-19 pandemic-inspired lockdown on jobs and businesses across the state.
Confirming the distribution of the food items, the Central Coordinator of Team Jandor, Funke Ijayekunle, said the Jandor Food Bank Initiative, since the inception of the Coronavirus lockdown in the state provided food items for various homes in its bid to cushion the effect of the lockdown on Lagosians.
“Our members have received the cash transfer of N5,000 each and the Jandor food bank initiative continues as we target more beneficiaries across the 20 Local Government and 37 Local Council Development Areas,” Ijayekunle said.
Similarly, Ibile – Eko Forum, a group of indigenous Lagosians in the five divisions of the state, has appreciated the Grand Patron for reaching out to its members across the state.
The Principal Coordinator of Ibile-Eko Forum, Hon. Bode Benson Makinde, lauded the Grand Patron, Mr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, for always keeping in touch with the grassroots, describing him as a man that has a true love for his people and always showing commitment to the course of Lagosians at home and in the Diaspora.
“We have taken possession on behalf of our people across the state, the food bank palliative measures and the cash donation for onward transfer to all our members across the state.
“It is fundamental to mention that Jandor has shown a rare commitment, even with the effect of the lockdown, he still remembers his people and he always extend a hand of fellowship,” Makinde said.
