The Lagos State House of Assembly has lifted the suspension on Jumu’a Service, reports The Gazelle News.com.
The lifting of the suspension became necessary after the completion of the sanitation exercise in the mosque.
According to the League of Imams, all Muslim brothers and sisters who will be coming for jumu’a prayers should hence adhere strictly to government guidelines on safety protocols.
“The Muslim Community enjoins all Muslim faithfuls to follow guidelines by putting on face masks while the mosque has provided temperature check points, sanitizers, functional hand wash basins with soap and enough water for ablution. Any attendee without a face mask will not be allowed into the Mosque,” the League of Imams said.
The Imams also stated that the mosque would be opened for Jumu’a tomorrow Friday, 22 January, 2021 by 1pm.
The Community commended the efforts of the State Government for the updates on the Covid-19 pandemic as well as putting necessary precautionary measures in place to prevent further spread of the deadly virus.
