On the first day of the easing of the lockdown in Lagos, the state has reported 76 new cases of coronavirus, The Gazelle News.com can report.
The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) giving the daily update of the coronavirus pandemic on its official Twitter handle on Monday, 4 May, 2020, stated that 245 new cases were reported nationwide bringing the total number of confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria to 2802.
Of the new cases reported, Lagos has 76, Katsina has 37, Jigawa 32, Kano 23, FCT 19, Borno 18, Edo 10, Bauchi 9, six in Adamawa, five each in Oyo and Ogun while Ekiti, Osun, Benue, Niger and Zamfara all have one case each reported.
Lagos, the epicentre, now has 1183 reported cases, Kano has 365, FCT 297 and Borno 100 being the top four of the Coronavirus table in Nigeria.
